Our acupuncture physicians are a team of licensed and Board certified doctors of Oriental medicine supervised by Amy Galvan L’Ac, AP DOM.
All of our acupuncturists are required to have completed a 5-year academic program of study in Contemporary Oriental Medicine from Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine, an accredited private school, under the tutelage of internationally renowned Leon Hammer, MD. This program entails over 3,000 hours of specialized instruction and clinical internship, with 500 hours of Western medicine. Contemporary Oriental Medicine includes training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Acupuncture, Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis, and the world renowned highest level mastery of effective treatment strategies cultivated by the Ding lineage of Shanghai concerning physical, mental, and emotional aspects of health.
