JJ

JJ

Biography

Save the Chi! Little JJ is a 7 year old chiweenie rescue dog who joined us in January 2016. He works as a patient greeter, treatment assistant, and provides complementary pet therapy services of unconditional love and cuteness. JJ loves to walk you to your seat in the waiting room, and again to your treatment room where he will stay in his dog bed demonstrating how you should relax during your treatment. Sometimes he snores, but he never barks or jumps. When children (sometimes adults!) need proof that the needles don't hurt, JJ will demonstrate by letting Dr Amy put a needle in him without even noticing. JJ is a natural therapy dog and healer. Rumor has it that some patients book appointments just to see JJ. He is an important part of the healing environment at Galvan Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine.
